I personally think that this work shows a message of friendship. About how important it is to share your life with another person which is a beautiful message to show in photography.
The angle of the butterflies are perfectly captured, this is a important aspect of any photo.
Its a very simple photograph but affective towards the audiences feelings. When the audience sees this they might think of how important their own friends are to them personally. This brings out the emotion in the viewer.
The lighting brings out the beauty of the background aswell as the creatures. The main focus is the butterflies but also it is important to have something beautiful and worth looking at in the background aswell which you have done.
